1. About Us
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Bluewash Exterior Cleaning Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "the Company") and any person or organisation ("you", "the Customer") who requests or receives services from us.

2. Services
We provide exterior cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- Window cleaning (residential and commercial)
- Gutter cleaning and downpipe clearance
- Driveway and patio pressure washing
- Roof soft washing and moss treatment
- Exterior house washing (render, cladding, brickwork)
- Commercial and end-of-tenancy cleaning
All services are carried out by trained operatives using appropriate equipment and, where applicable, eco-friendly biocide treatments.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Prices displayed on our website are indicative price ranges and are provided for guidance only. A fixed quote will be confirmed before work commences, either in writing (email) or verbally by telephone.
The final price may vary from the website range based on property size, access requirements, surface condition and any additional work identified on the day. Any additional charges will be communicated and agreed with you before the work is carried out.
4. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we have agreed a date and price with you, either by email, telephone or text message. We will aim to confirm all bookings in writing.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if, upon inspection, we determine that the work cannot be safely or effectively carried out with our standard equipment.
5. Delivery and Fulfilment of Services
Services are carried out on the agreed date and at the agreed address. Where access to the property is required, it is your responsibility to ensure that access is available at the agreed time.
If we are unable to access the property on the agreed date due to circumstances within your control, a call-out charge may apply.
For roof soft wash and biocide treatments: results continue to develop over 4–8 weeks following the treatment date as the biocide takes full effect. This is a normal characteristic of the treatment process and does not constitute incomplete or defective service.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance. We accept payment by:
- Bank transfer (BACS)
- Cash
- Invoice (for commercial customers, by prior agreement)
For commercial or contract customers, payment terms are net 14 days from the date of invoice unless otherwise stated in writing. Late payments may be subject to statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation charge of up to 50% of the agreed price to cover travel and preparation costs.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to adverse weather conditions (e.g. heavy rain, frost, high winds) that would compromise the safety or quality of the service. We will contact you as early as possible to arrange an alternative date.
8. Cancellations by the Company
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and will offer the earliest available alternative date. No cancellation charge will apply to you in this circumstance.
9. Refunds
If you are not satisfied with the work carried out, please notify us within 48 hours of completion. We will return to rectify any genuine deficiency in the service at no additional charge.
Refunds will be considered where:
- The agreed service was not carried out
- The work was demonstrably below a reasonable standard and we have been given a reasonable opportunity to remedy it but failed to do so
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction arising from pre-existing property conditions (e.g. permanent staining, surface damage) that could not be resolved by cleaning alone, where this limitation was communicated before or during the visit.
10. Liability
We carry full public liability insurance. In the event of damage caused directly by our negligence, we will handle claims through our insurer. Please notify us of any such issue within 24 hours of the visit.
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to surfaces, gutters, roofing or external fixtures
- Damage resulting from existing structural defects, loose fittings or deteriorated materials
- Indirect or consequential losses
11. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Ensure safe and clear access to all areas where work is to be carried out
- Remove or secure any items (garden furniture, vehicles, pets) that may be affected by the cleaning process
- Inform us in advance of any known fragile surfaces, newly treated paintwork, or areas requiring special care
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, please contact us in the first instance at [email protected] or by phone on 07828 723 804. We aim to resolve all complaints fairly and promptly, typically within 5 working days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may seek independent resolution through Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) or the relevant trading standards authority.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on this page. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
